Thousand Islands lies on northern Jakarta (Capital city of Indonesia) and can be reached by boat for about 2 hour..
There are many islands that you can visit and also a lot of activities!! For example banana boat, snorkeling, diving, swimming, sun bathing, etc etc..

I went to some island:
- Pramuka Island (I get the motel here)
- Air Island (good snorkeling spot)
- Tidung Island (various activity: banana boat, jet ski, snorkeling, bicycling, strolling around Jembatan Cinta 'Love Bridge')
- Semak Daun Island (private island with no resident. Very clean sand and water. Great area for group activity like barbeque, games, etc)
- Kotok Island (this is a resort with rate around 140-200 USD per night per person. Super perfect place for sweet escape! Just you and the beach, and forest. Small island with clean beach and little forest. You can see a lot of eagle, crow, and biawak/big lizard here. Very natural. I like it..)
